Halloween is over, time to pack up the skeletons, ghosts and ghouls for another season and prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving. This time of year really kicks off the family holiday season and putting out the fall cornucopias, pilgrim figurines and turkey paintings made with the hands of little crafters will really set the mood. We want to help get your house looking festive with some fun Thanksgiving decorations.

If you are the lucky one to host the family meal, then why not greet your guests with a clever doormat, like this Thanksgiving wish doormat. You could even turn this into dinner conversation by asking people to share their wish for the season. You can even get your mailbox looking festive with an artistic mailbox wrap. You can even have a yard sign with your address posted so no of the guests will miss their destination.

One of my favorite things ever since I was a child is to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade. All the floats, marching bands and character balloons are so fun to see as they make the way through town ushering in old St. Nick himself. To this day I still enjoy this tradition with my kids as we get ready to spend the day with family and friends.

For others it’s not just about the food, family and conversation but football is the highlight of the day for some. Well and pumpkin pie…. always room for pie. This food, family and football flag will help kick off your family time the way you do it best, watching the game as you slip into a food coma.

So as we roll into the Holiday season we hope you have a great day of Thanksgiving with your loved ones.
