With three snows already fallen and another on the way, I have holiday decorating on my mind. I like to start simple, though, because decking the halls (and the living room, dining room, tree and front door) can be overwhelming.
So here’s how I kicked off my Christmas decorating marathon and it only took a few minutes and zero dollars!
Start by grabbing some evergreen sprigs and pine cones outside. Come on back inside and round up some holiday ribbon, scissors, a glue gun and craft mat.
Cut a length of ribbon about 2.5’ long and lay it on your mat. Then place the stem of the evergreen sprig in the middle of the ribbon and hot glue in place.
Tie a knot around the stem.
Next, hot glue a pine cone a couple of inches below the knot.
Now simply tie the ornament around a doorknob and admire.
I already have a few of these adorning my doors and they look so sweet!
