It’s party time! If New Years Eve wasn’t enough of a celebration then hold onto your beads because Mardi Gras is right around the corner. February not only has Valentines Day but also shares the month with one of the notably wildest parties around. February 9th is the day for you to let loose, dress for the masquerade and garnish yourself with beaded necklaces.

Even if you can’t make it all the way to New Orleans for the festivities first hand, the local Mardi Gras bashes have started gaining popularity in other towns across the U.S. We at flagsrus want to help you get into the groove with some Mardi Party decor.

Did you know?

The traditional Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold were not chosen arbitrarily. Rex, the King of Carnival, selected this scheme in 1892, declaring purple for justice, green for faith and gold for power.

If you are the host of the party, why not create a parade of your own and allow the guests to carry banners through the party zone. Those without flags can throw out the beads and confetti to really make an impression.
