Thankful and Blessed

Soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and this day, I am sure looks differently to each and every family. One thing that I hope is the same for the majority of us, is that we take the time to give thanks for all of the many blessings we have.

First and foremost, that we live in the United States of America is truly a blessing, that we have the opportunity to have an education, find employment that allows us to feed and take care of our families and for the gift of family and friends in our lives.

Many times the holidays can be hard for some people and this gives us an opportunity to bless someone on this special day.

All people face struggles and trials throughout their time here on earth, but I think many are given tougher circumstances to overcome and as I think about those people in my life, I think Thanksgiving is the perfect opportunity to bless them with a gift from FlagsRUs.org.

Perhaps it is an elderly person whose family lives away from them, a recent widower that is facing the holidays without their loved one or a neighbor who does not have anyone to celebrate with.
