Before cutting my yard for the first time this year, I noticed lots of different wild flowers blooming. Some people consider them to be weeds. I don't think of them that way but I do mow most of them down. One way to keep the memory of the little blooms is by displaying flags depicting the flower. Flagsrus.org has lots of pretty wild flower inspired items.
Blue and purple are my favorite colors so dainty violets are a favorite wild flower of mine. There are purple and white violets in my yard. The Flower Cat garden flag has violets and other flowers on it and in the middle sits a yellow tabby cat.
Buttercups remind me of my childhood. Friends would hold a buttercup under each other's chin. If there was a yellow reflection it meant you like butter. You're probably thinking to yourself right now "Hey, I did that too!" Look at the buttercup flags HERE.
I always thought the plant with the yellow flower in my photo above was a wild strawberry plant. I found out it's actually a close cousin of the strawberry but considered a weed. The fruit is edible but it has a bland or bitter taste. I'll pass on eating strawberries for this plant. Instead, I'll enjoy the juicy sweet strawberries like the ones depicted on the Basket Of Strawberries appliqued flag and other strawberry flags shown HERE. I have the Fox and Friends house flag. I love it.
I love the leaves of a fern. There are many variations. The Classic Fern Monogramflag has a fern detail on it. This is one wild plant I don't mow down!

Hi JoElla, I wrote this blog. Thanks for reading it! The yellow cat in wildflowers is here— https://www.flagsrus.org/products/flower-cat-garden-flag You can also click on the words “The Flower Cat garden flag” in this blog and it will go right to the flag.
In some sentences I’ll say “click HERE” to see a flag or group of flags. Also sometimes if an item is mentioned you can click on the item name and it will go to the item on the site. When you put your cursor on the name, the name will turn blue. In this blog you can click on The Classic Fern Monogram flag and it will go to the site.
I’m sorry but I don’t have anything to do with the prize wheel. You can only win once per email address. You can email customer service at orders@flagsrus.org or maybe send a message to their Facebook page if you are on Facebook.
Thank you again for reading.
